For example, instead of thinking “I can’t do that”, think “I can do hard things”. This simple switch can make a world of difference.

The idea is to create a daily habit—maybe stick affirmations on your mirror or set reminders on your phone. Over time, your brain will start to believe them.

Create An action List For Your Goals

Ideas and goals are great but they are essentially useless without taking action. Empowered people don’t just dream. They do. They recognise the need to put in the work to reach their goals.

So, start by identifying your large goals and then break them down until there are actions you can complete today, this week, this month, this year, and so on.

For example, instead of saying “I want to be healthier,” try: “I want to drink 2L of water daily”, “I want to walk 20 minutes every morning ” or “I want to prep my meals on Sundays”.

And remember, taking consistent, tiny steps builds momentum and strengthens your belief in your ability to follow through.

Practice Confidence And Assertiveness

Feeling confident and powerful in your abilities is a key component of feeling empowered. It’s okay if this isn’t naturally a part of your personality.
